**Job Title:** Software Engineer – Embedded Systems **Role Summary:** Collaborate in a self‑organizing agile team to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software for industrial‑grade telecommunications equipment running on embedded Linux. Contribute to product and quality alignment, code reviews, and performance improvements, while driving innovation in tools and technologies. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality, maintainable embedded software that meets functional and performance requirements. - Manage personal tasks and deadlines within a collaborative, cross‑functional team. - Communicate effectively in English; Dutch language skills are a plus. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded Linux applications. - Participate in design and code reviews; provide constructive feedback. - Debug and optimize system performance. - Collaborate with product management, QA, and service teams to define technical requirements. - Introduce and evaluate new tools, technologies, and processes for R&D. - Document design decisions, test plans, and code changes. **Required Skills:** - Proficient programming in C++ and Python. - Embedded Linux development experience. - Strong debugging, testing, and performance tuning skills. - Familiarity with agile development practices. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Relevant certifications in embedded systems or Linux (optional but preferred).
