Job Description

**Job Title**: Healthcare IT Senior Project Manager **Role Summary**: Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of a large‑scale healthcare IT system implementation, managing design, configuration, vendor coordination, multi‑stage testing, integration, and business change activities. Deliver the project on time, within scope, and to stakeholder expectations. **Expectations**: - Top‑performance Project Manager with a proven track record of repeatedly delivering IT application systems in live environments. - Strong communicator with excellent reporting skills. - Proactive, detail‑oriented, and disciplined in planning. - Exceeds in hard work, delivery leadership, and drive. - Experienced in managing hybrid (onsite/hybrid) working environments. - Not a technical Scrum/Agile specialist; focus is on traditional project management processes. **Key Responsibilities**: 1. Own the full project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, closure). 2. Manage system design, configuration build, and multi‑party vendor coordination. 3. Direct testing phases across functional and integration checkpoints. 4. Coordinate the business change workstream—workshops, training, change communication. 5. Prepare and deliver clear status reports, risk register, issue log, and stakeholder briefings. 6. Maintain scope, schedule, budget and quality controls; enforce change control processes. 7. Drive team performance and ensure adherence to project standards. **Required Skills**: - Minimum 5 years of end‑to‑end IT application delivery in complex environments. - Proven high‑performance delivery of IT systems, with healthcare domain experience being a plus. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills. - Advanced planning, scheduling, risk, and issue management. - Vendor contract negotiation and management experience. - Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and operate in a hybrid setting. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. - Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification preferred. - Healthcare‑specific IT certifications (e.g., HL7, CCHIT) are a plus but not mandatory.
