Mulesoft Lead Developer/Architect
Role Summary:
Senior lead developer with 12+ years of software experience, focusing on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex integration solutions across on‑prem, CloudHub, and hybrid environments while leading a team (80% leadership, 20% hands‑on).
Expactations:
• Lead architecture of API‑led integration strategies and governance.
• Ensure production deployments are stable, performant, and secure.
• Mentor and coach junior developers.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders and cloud architects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design, development, and deployment of MuleSoft integrations.
- Define integration patterns, API specifications, and data flows.
- Manage API Manager, Design Center, Runtime Manager, and connectors.
- Build and maintain DataWeave transformations and REST/web services.
- Oversee production monitoring, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
- Implement CI/CD, DevOps practices, and automated tests.
- Provide technical leadership in a 24/7/365 environment.
- Document architecture, technical designs, and best practices.
Required Skills:
- 12+ years overall development experience; 3‑5 years as a lead.
- 2‑3 years hands‑on MuleSoft API development.
- Advanced knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (API Manager, Design Center, Runtime Manager, connectors).
- Proficiency in Java, JSON, XML, RESTful APIs, DataWeave.
- Strong ETL and data management concepts (data warehousing, marts, stores).
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP for MuleSoft deployments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps.
- Excellent analytical, design, and performance optimization skills.
- Strong communication and collaborative teamwork.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or MuleSoft Certified Developer (any edition).
- Cloud platform certification (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred.
