**Job title**
Senior ServiceNow Developer – Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
**Role Summary**
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade ServiceNow HAM solutions, ensuring secure, scalable, and audit‑ready workflows that manage the full hardware asset lifecycle (procure, receive, deploy, transfer, reclaim, store, dispose). Interface with cross‑functional teams to deliver integrations, support governance, and drive continuous improvement.
**Expectations**
- 5–7 years of hands‑on ServiceNow development, with a focus on HAM/ITAM.
- Lead architecture, coding, testing, and production support across the SDLC.
- Mentor junior developers and enforce coding standards.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA/UAT, Platform, and Operations teams.
- Maintain compliance with enterprise risk, SOX, and audit requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and configure ServiceNow Pro solutions for the complete hardware asset lifecycle.
- Build and maintain Flow Designer workflows, business rules, Script Includes, UI policies, and catalog/task extensions.
- Ensure asset data accuracy, classification, normalization, and lifecycle governance.
- Implement role‑based access controls, ACLs, and least‑privilege security models.
- Support audit, risk, and compliance controls, including SOX‑aligned data traceability.
- Develop and maintain integrations with procurement, inventory, logistics, and other enterprise systems (APIs, MID Server, imports/transform maps).
- Participate in release planning, upgrades, code freezes, regression testing, and production support.
- Perform senior‑level troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and defect resolution.
- Contribute to technical standards, documentation, and developer best practices.
- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering quality and consistency.
**Required Skills**
- ServiceNow development (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, UI Policies).
- In‑depth experience with ServiceNow HAM Pro and asset/model data structures.
- Proficiency in Flow Designer and workflow automation.
- Strong data integrity, governance, and audit‑ready design knowledge.
- Expertise in role‑based access controls, ACLs, and security modeling.
- Ability to design and maintain integrations (API, MID Server, transform maps).
- Experience delivering solutions in large, complex enterprise environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Integration Specialist (CIS) preferred.
- ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management certification is a plus.
