Technology Lead
**Role Summary**
Lead the global technology strategy for distribution data, client reporting, and performance attribution across EMEA, North America, and India. Design, build, and maintain cloud-native platforms (AWS, Snowflake) and SaaS integrations to deliver scalable, trustworthy insights for investment and client decision‑making, while embedding ESG data and ensuring regulatory compliance.
**Expectations**
- Deliver a unified, cloud‑based data & reporting architecture that supports real‑time insights for sales, distribution, and client service.
- Own end‑to‑end data pipelines for fund performance/attribution, ESG integration, and investor reporting.
- Champion data governance, privacy, and regulatory controls (GDPR, data lineage).
- Translate analytics, AI/ML opportunities into actionable business outcomes.
- Influence senior stakeholders globally and drive cross‑regional collaboration.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Develop and execute the technology strategy for distribution and client reporting platforms.
2. Architect and maintain cloud‑native data warehouses and data lakes (AWS, Snowflake).
3. Integrate ESG data into performance reporting workflows.
4. Lead and mentor multi‑region engineering and data science teams; enforce agile methodologies (OKRs, backlog, CI/CD).
5. Manage SaaS platform integrations (e.g., SimCorp Coric, Vermilion) and API ecosystems.
6. Ensure data security, observability, and compliance across datasets and services.
7. Drive continuous improvement of factsheet and investor reporting processes.
8. Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders.
**Required Skills**
- Distribution, sales, marketing, and client data experience in mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, institutional channels.
- Proven architecture of AWS and Snowflake platforms at scale; expertise in data engineering, ETL, and data modeling.
- Strong proficiency with APIs, CI/CD, IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), containers, observability tools.
- Knowledge of data governance, lineage, privacy, GDPR, and regulatory controls in cloud environments.
- Agile leadership (OKRs, sprint planning, backlog management).
- Analytics, AI/ML, and emerging tech application for distribution and reporting.
- Excellent communication, cross‑regional collaboration, and stakeholder influence.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Snowflake SnowPro Architect, or equivalent data/platform certifications preferred.
