Head of New Business Development – Influence
**Role Summary**
Lead the creation, scaling, and optimisation of the agency’s sales function to drive sustainable revenue growth. Design commercial strategy, structure sales processes, and build a robust pipeline while packaging and pitching differentiated influence‑marketing offers. Evangelise the brand to key media, agency, and advertiser partners, manage and coach the sales team, and contribute strategically to the agency’s expansion.
**Expectations**
- 5‑10+ years in commercial development within influence, social media, digital agencies, or media.
- Proven track record of structuring or scaling a sales organization.
- Deep knowledge of the influence & social media market.
- Strong marketing acumen and ability to translate market insights into commercial value.
- Natural leader with coaching, pitching, storytelling, negotiation, and closing expertise.
- Results‑driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growth challenges.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Sales Function Structuring**
- Define overall commercial strategy and growth targets.
- Design and implement sales processes: qualification, prospecting, pitch, closing, reporting.
- Deploy and manage tools (CRM, sequencing, scoring, dashboards).
- Monitor pipeline rigorously and lead accurate sales forecasting.
2. **Marketing & Offer Packaging**
- Create, refine, and evolve agency service offerings.
- Develop sales collateral: presentations, case studies, argumentation frameworks.
- Collaborate with creative and production teams to craft differentiated value propositions.
3. **Market Evangelisation & Prospecting**
- Represent the agency with advertisers, media agencies, networks, and partners.
- Attend industry events, conferences, seminars, webinars, and trade shows.
- Execute proactive prospecting strategies (outbound, inbound, ABM).
- Build and maintain relationships with marketing and communications decision‑makers.
4. **Team Leadership & Development**
- Coach, mentor, and grow the sales team.
- Instill a results‑oriented, collaborative sales culture.
- Oversee recruitment of future commercial talent.
5. **Strategic Growth Contribution**
- Analyse market trends, insights, and emergent advertiser needs.
- Identify new sector opportunities, offers, and partnership avenues.
- Partner with strategy, creative, influence, and production units for cross‑functional growth initiatives.
