**Job title:** Applications Developer
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance web applications and associated databases using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, JSON, jQuery, and Microsoft SQL Server. Ensure data integrity, accessibility compliance, and adherence to coding standards while collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
**Expactations:**
- Deliver clean, well‑documented code that meets functional and performance requirements.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases efficiently.
- Communicate progress and issues clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Self‑manage tasks with minimal supervision while adapting to changing business needs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Contribute to database and application design, focusing on scalability and reliability.
- Enhance and maintain index and enterprise applications for optimal performance.
- Validate application and database data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency; document and resolve data quality issues.
- Perform comprehensive application testing, including accessibility compliance.
- Document end‑to‑end processes, system architecture, and data flows to support ongoing development and maintenance.
- Follow established development standards, best practices, and coding guidelines.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with ASP.NET, .NET Core, C#, MVC, JSON, jQuery, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Expertise in programming, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and dynamic SQL.
- Strong knowledge of unit testing, release/deployment procedures, coding design principles, and documentation standards.
- Ability to quickly analyze, understand, and enhance existing codebases.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; collaborative with cross‑functional teams.
- Independent work style with strong self‑direction.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
