Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Role Summary: Architect, deploy, and maintain secure DevSecOps infrastructure for mission‑critical, multi‑enclave systems.
Expectations: Deliver reliable, compliant infrastructure; automate deployments; collaborate with security, development, and operations teams; manage CI/CD pipelines and observability tools; adhere to classified environment standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, certify, and operate DevSecOps tooling in IaaS environments.
- Configure and manage Linux/Windows servers to support dynamic web and cluster applications.
- Troubleshoot interoperability across OS, libraries, components, and dependencies.
- Deploy and maintain open‑source monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios).
- Automate end‑to‑end deployments with scripting (Bash, Python) and IaC (Terraform, Ansible).
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.) aligned with DevSecOps best practices.
- Participate in SAFe Agile events (PI Planning, ART sync).
- Support Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret environments; maintain SCI access and CI polygraph status.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years in DevOps or related field.
- Proficient in IaC (Terraform, Ansible).
- Advanced container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Expertise in infrastructure management (AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S, VMware vSphere, VxRail).
- Experience with version control (GitLab, GitHub).
- Strong understanding of security architecture, SSH/SLL/TLS, key vaults, classified network practices.
- CI/CD pipeline design and optimization.
- Monitoring frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios).
- Scripting (Bash, Python).
- Data processing, ETL workflow orchestration.
- Knowledge of ElasticSearch, Solr, MySQL, Postgres, MSSQL, JFrog Artifactory, Sonatype Nexus, Apache Tomcat.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for SCI access and CI polygraph.
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred.
