Job Description

**Job Title:** Security Architect **Role Summary:** Define, design, and oversee the security architecture for the Ground Segment of a next‑generation satellite system. Ensure security, integrity, observability, and resilience of critical ground functions while satisfying system, operational, network, software, and long life‑cycle constraints. **Expactations:** • Bachelor’s or equivalent in Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field. • Proven experience in security architecture for complex systems. • Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills. • Ability to collaborate effectively within cross‑functional teams and communicate with clients. • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. • Knowledge of the space sector is a plus. **Key Responsibilities:** • Act as the security architect for the Ground Segment module. • Design security functions aligned with required security levels and customer specifics. • Draft, adapt, and explain security specifications across systems, components, and platforms. • Produce and update security documentation per project needs. • Author security annexes in design documents for multiple projects. • Analyze Statements of Compliance (SoC) for components against security requirements. **Required Skills:** • Proficiency with DOORS. • Expertise in security functions within cloud environments. • Deep understanding of systems engineering: requirements, traceability, architecture, Integration, Verification & Validation (IVV). • Excellent written and verbal communication. • Team‑oriented mindset with strong client interaction. **Required Education & Certifications:** • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related discipline. • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, or equivalent) are advantageous but not mandatory.
