**Job Title:**
Account Executive II – Hybrid Cloud & Professional Services
**Role Summary:**
Drive new business and revenue growth for RapidScale’s hybrid cloud managed services and professional services. Build and close enterprise pipelines, engage C-level buyers, and leverage partner ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) to acquire net‑new logos and expand existing strategic accounts across a diverse industry portfolio.
**Expectations:**
- Consistently reach or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain a 5:1 pipeline‑to‑quota ratio in a complex, consultative sales environment.
- Travel 25‑50 % of the time for client engagements, presentations, and industry events.
- Operate within the defined salary band ($111,900 – $167,900 base + up to $85k incentive).
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Develop net‑new pipeline and execute outbound prospecting across public, private, and hybrid cloud segments.
2. Convert qualified opportunities into closed bookings, driving both recurring managed services and non‑recurring professional services.
3. Manage the full sales cycle—lead qualification, solution presentation, proposal development, negotiation, and contract finalization.
4. Build and nurture relationships with key decision‑makers (C-suite, CIOs, IT leaders) in target industries.
5. Leverage AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud partner programs to enhance deal velocity and partner collaboration.
6. Utilize Salesforce to track opportunities, forecast accurately, and derive actionable data insights.
7. Coordinate with product, marketing, professional services, and customer success teams to ensure seamless handoffs and optimal service delivery.
8. Represent and promote RapidScale’s offerings at industry events, webinars, and direct customer meetings.
**Required Skills:**
- Enterprise B2B sales experience (6+ years) in cloud, IT, or managed services.
- Proven hunting skills: building pipelines from scratch, outbound prospecting, and closing large enterprise deals.
- Strong consultative, value‑based selling ability with executive‑level communication.
- Experience selling through both direct and indirect channel models.
- Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud ecosystems and partner programs.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Proficiency in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) for pipeline management and forecasting.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree with 6 years sales experience **or** Master’s degree with 4 years experience **or** Ph.D. with 1 year experience **or** 10 years experience without a degree.
- Certifications: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Professional (preferred).
**Preferred Industry Expertise:**
- Healthcare, Financial Services, SaaS, or E‑Commerce sectors.
