Job title: Staff Data Scientist (Gen AI, Machine Learning)
Role Summary: Lead advanced AI research and engineering for generative and graph‑based machine learning solutions that drive next‑generation network intelligence products.
Expactations: • Own the long‑term ML strategy and product vision.
• Translate cutting‑edge research into scalable, production‑ready systems.
• Mentor a cross‑functional team to deliver high‑impact, real‑time AI services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and evolve the organization’s ML roadmap, aligning with business objectives.
- Lead R&D on Generative AI (RAG, AI Agents, LLM fine‑tuning) and Graph ML (GNNs, GraphRAG).
- Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle: model design, experimentation, validation, deployment, and operations at scale.
- Extend and maintain ML libraries, frameworks, and cloud‑native infrastructure to accelerate experimentation.
- Provide technical guidance to engineers and scientists, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Engage with product, data, and infrastructure stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of AI capabilities.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of production ML experience, with a strong record in research and deployment.
- Proven expertise in Generative AI (RAG, AI agents, LLM fine‑tuning).
- Deep knowledge of Graph ML techniques and libraries (GNNs, GraphRAG).
- Full SDLC proficiency: design, coding, code review, testing, deployment, and ops.
- Experience building large‑scale distributed systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for complex, ambiguous challenges.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (minimum).
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related discipline preferred.
- Familiarity with distributed Big Data tools (Spark, Flink, Kafka, PySpark, Lakehouse, Hudi, Druid, Glue) is a plus.
