Job Description
Job Title: Systems Engineer Intern – Tools (M/F) Role Summary: Intern to support the Systems Engineering team on the EPR2 nuclear island design project. Focus on developing and improving digital tools, visualisations, and KPI dashboards that track performance against design requirements and facilitate validation/verification activities. Expectations: - Contribute to formalising and enhancing Systems Engineering methods (requirements traceability, test case management, V&V tracking). - Define best‑practice repositories to align requirements, design, and verification. - Develop applications for KPI calculation and monitoring, and create dynamic visualisations for project management. - Assist in mapping business requirements to support V&V processes. - Participate in team meetings, monitor activities, and present work. Key Responsibilities: 1. Improve Systems Engineering processes and documentation. 2. Design and build KPI tracking tools (Python and/or JavaScript). 3. Create data visualisations using Power BI or comparable BI tools. 4. Map business requirement hierarchies to support validation. 5. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and present results to project leadership. Required Skills: - Programming: Python and/or JavaScript. - Data visualisation: Power BI or equivalent BI platforms. - Understanding of Systems Engineering concepts: requirements, architecture, traceability, V&V cycle. - Strong written and verbal communication in English and French. - Analytical, detail‑oriented, and capable of independent work. - Interest in nuclear engineering and large industrial projects. Required Education & Certifications: - Current student pursuing a 4th or 5th year engineering degree (Bac+4/5) in General Engineering, Informatics, Data Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Nuclear Engineering. - No specific certifications required, but coursework in system engineering or data analytics is advantageous.
