**Job Title**
Director, IoT Marketing & Communications
**Role Summary**
Lead the strategic marketing and global communication for an IoT connectivity provider. Drive B2B lead generation, brand positioning, digital presence, and cross‑functional team execution to support growth across industrial, consumer, and automotive IoT segments.
**Expectations**
- Deliver measurable marketing ROI and acquisition cost targets.
- Expand market visibility in key regions (Europe, Brazil, Japan, North America).
- Align marketing strategy with corporate objectives and product roadmap.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Define and execute operational marketing strategy for Industrial IoT, Consumer Devices, and Connected Car offerings.
- Design and manage B2B lead‑generation programs: multi‑channel campaigns, inbound marketing, CRM, nurturing, scoring.
- Create and maintain sales enablement assets (brochures, decks, product sheets, case studies, videos).
- Monitor and report on KPIs: conversion, traffic, ROI, brand awareness; refine tactics accordingly.
- Conduct proactive competitive and technology intelligence to identify new business and innovation opportunities.
- Control acquisition budgets and optimize client ROI.
- Shape global communication strategy: corporate messaging, digital channels, PR, storytelling.
- Strengthen international brand presence through media relations, thought‑leadership content, and event participation (e.g., Mobile World Congress).
- Oversee digital operations: multilingual website management, SEO/SEM, UX, social media strategy (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube).
- Produce and edit multimedia content, measure audience engagement via analytics tools.
- Lead internal communication and employer branding initiatives in partnership with HR.
- Manage logistics and messaging for international trade shows and conferences.
- Supervise and develop a marketing/communications team of ~10 personnel.
**Required Skills**
- Strategic marketing and communications leadership in telecom/IoT or comparable tech environment.
- Expertise in B2B lead generation, multi‑channel marketing, inbound, CRM, and automation platforms.
- Strong analytical skills: KPI tracking, ROI calculation, data‑driven decision making.
- Content creation and copywriting; ability to produce presentations and business models.
- Proficiency in digital marketing: SEO, SEM, social media, web analytics, UX.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; additional language (Portuguese, Japanese, German) is advantageous.
- Cross‑cultural team management, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Bac +5) in business, marketing, communications, or engineering (e.g., business school, CELSA, Sciences Po, or equivalent).
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in strategic marketing and communication within a telecom, IoT, or international technology organization.
- Proven leadership track record in building and scaling global marketing functions.
