Specialist, Resource Centre
**Role Summary**
Oversee the strategic management, curation, and continuous improvement of a global digital knowledge platform (Resource Centre). Ensure the platform is user‑friendly, secure, content‑rich, and aligned with organizational priorities. Serve as the primary point of contact for the platform’s technical and content operations, partnering with external developers, internal stakeholders, and content contributors.
**Expectations**
- Deliver a high‑quality, accessible platform that meets E&L standards and supports program quality improvement.
- Manage platform performance, security, and GDPR compliance.
- Curate and maintain multilingual content with accurate metadata and consistent quality.
- Develop and execute a content strategy that drives engagement and supports advocacy and learning objectives.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Platform & Technical Oversight:
- Liaise with external vendor (Swace Digital AB) for hosting, security, bug fixes, and feature development on AWS/NextJS/WordPress.
- Monitor performance, analytics, and site availability; coordinate maintenance schedules and API integrations.
- Content Curation & Quality Assurance:
- Review, upload, and edit resources, ensuring metadata completeness and SEO optimization.
- Enforce image and accessibility policies, maintain multilingual consistency (English, French, Spanish, Swedish, Dutch, Arabic).
- Audit platform for broken links, outdated content, and metadata gaps.
- Content Strategy & Engagement:
- Create and update editorial calendar, align with campaigns, awareness days, and stakeholder milestones.
- Source and publish high‑quality resources, promote new content internally and externally.
- Copyright & Governance:
- Manage copyright agreements, Creative Commons compliance, and content lifecycle.
- Budgeting, Reporting & Coordination:
- Handle quarterly invoicing, budgeting, and usage reporting.
- Produce analytics for leadership and support funding proposals.
- Foster collaboration with IT, global communications, and thematic teams.
**Required Skills**
- Proven experience managing digital knowledge platforms or large content repositories.
- Technical proficiency with CMS (WordPress), cloud hosting (AWS), APIs, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, HotJar).
- Strong writing, editing, and cataloging abilities; familiarity with metadata standards and multilingual content.
- Strategic mindset for content planning and audience engagement.
- Project management skills: vendor management, budgeting, reporting cycles.
- Analytical capability: data extraction, insight generation, and dashboards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder liaison skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Information Science, Library Science, or related field (preferred).
- Certifications in CMS administration, project management or digital analytics are a plus.
