Job Description
Job title: Enterprise Security Generalist Role Summary: Spearhead enterprise security operations for a large corporation, coordinating site security strategy, training, and incident response across multiple locations while liaising with internal stakeholders and external partners. Expactations: - Operate in both office and field environments, responding to on‑demand incidents and after‑hours requirements - Maintain constant communication with federal, state, and local law‑enforcement agencies, industry partners, and vendors - Manage security budgets and contractual agreements with minimal supervision - Travel extensively on short notice as business needs dictate Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute site security plans in collaboration with regional teams - Deliver security awareness training company‑wide - Support the enterprise security management system and regulatory programs (CFATS, MTSA, NERC‑CIP) - Oversee national uniformed guard contracts and project manage physical security buildouts - Conduct confidential investigations, interview victims and witnesses, collect and preserve evidence, and prepare detailed reports - Build and sustain relationships with business units (HR, IT, Compliance, HSE, Legal) to implement risk‑based security solutions - Maintain a secure liaison program with law enforcement and industry security practitioners Required Skills: - Risk‑based security analysis and incident response - Investigation techniques, evidence handling, and report writing - Knowledge of access controls, CCTV monitoring, and intrusion detection systems - Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building abilities - Analytical thinking, initiative, and ability to work independently - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) Required Education & Certifications: - Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Security Management, or Criminal Justice expected - Master’s degree preferred - Minimum 2 years progressive security experience (military, government, law enforcement, or corporate) - Experience in leading security training and programs preferred.
