Job Description
Job title: Development Officer – Real Estate (Male/Female) Role Summary: Drive the commercial real estate development strategy for a retail brand, identifying, evaluating, and acquiring new sites to support expansion. Coordinate cross‑functional projects, negotiate with third parties, and represent the brand at industry events. Expectations: * Minimum 5 years of proven development experience in retail or commercial real estate. * Strong expertise in site prospecting, acquisition, lease negotiations, and pre‑construction. * Ability to work independently, propose strategies, and manage complex multi‑stakeholder projects. * Excellent relational skills, integrity, and teamwork orientation. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct targeted site research and prospecting, continuously updating the land‑prospecting database. * Analyze zoning and urban planning documents for potential sites. * Prepare project pre‑assembly in collaboration with the Development Manager. * Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, real‑estate agents, investors, and other key stakeholders. * Evaluate and recommend acquisition options (purchase vs. lease) based on market analysis. * Represent the brand at trade shows, professional events, and industry gatherings. * Support the overall growth and market presence of the retail concept. Required Skills: * Real estate site prospecting and negotiation. * Project coordination across multiple parties. * Strong analytical and decision‑making abilities. * Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills. * Autonomy, initiative, and a proactive mindset. * Sensitivity to the food retail sector and proximity‑concept models. Required Education & Certifications: * Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Commerce, Real Estate Development, or related field. * Demonstrated track record in retail or commercial real‑estate development. * Professional certification in real estate or property development is an advantage.
