Job Description
Job title: Product Analytics Engineer Role Summary: Design, build, and scale data pipelines and reporting infrastructure that empower product teams in Payments, Credit, and Subscriptions to make data‑driven decisions across complex launches. Expectations: 3+ years in analytics or data engineering, expert in DBT and SQL, proficient with modern data stack tools, collaborative mindset, strong communicator, proactive problem‑solver, AI‑curious, able to work cross‑functionally with analysts, PMs, and engineers. Key Responsibilities: • Lead end‑to‑end design and development of scalable product pipelines for multi‑domain releases. • Partner with Product Analysts and Product Managers to define data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Create reliable, high‑performance data marts and models that feed dashboards and self‑service analytics. • Apply appropriate data modeling frameworks (e.g., one‑big‑table, entity tables, Kimball) for product analytics use cases. • Monitor and optimize pipeline health, query performance, and data quality. • Document solutions, establish best practices, and upskill Product Analysts on pipeline development. • Integrate cross‑domain data to produce cohesive reporting structures. Required Skills: • Advanced DBT expertise (materializations, snapshots, variables, macros, Jinja). • Strong SQL with focus on performance tuning and query optimization. • Experience with modern data stack: DBT Core/Cloud, Git, and Redshift (plus other data warehouses). • Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. • Proactive, self‑motivated problem‑solver with initiative. • Interest or experience leveraging AI tools to enhance development workflows.
