**Job title**: Data Governance Consultant (F/M)
**Role Summary**
Acts as the primary client liaison for DataGalaxy’s data governance platform, ensuring client satisfaction, adoption, and growth. Works closely with account managers to understand client needs, provide technical guidance, and deliver best‑practice solutions that maximize platform value and drive upsell opportunities.
**Expectations**
- Deliver value‑centric consulting in data governance and product usage.
- Maintain and grow a portfolio of accounts while facilitating upsell and renewal.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Marketing, and Sales to shape strategy and road‑map.
- Maintain professional competency in data governance frameworks and industry standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage a client portfolio in partnership with account executives, supporting day‑to‑day product use and governance implementation.
- Analyze and prioritize client requirements; advise on best practices and configuration.
- Respond to technical, product, and governance questions, enabling optimal customer success.
- Evaluate user experience, recommend enhancements, and advocate client feedback to internal stakeholders.
- Drive account growth through upsell and expansion initiatives; actively pursue renewals.
- Monitor platform usage metrics (health checks) and customer satisfaction scores, reporting trends and opportunities.
- Audit, analyze, and document use cases; translate findings into actionable insights for Product, Marketing, and Sales teams.
- Participate in strategic account committees and contribute to broader corporate strategy.
- Create, curate, and maintain training, documentation, and governance playbooks.
- Build, manage, and nurture both on‑site and virtual user community groups to foster peer learning and product advocacy.
**Required Skills**
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills (French and English).
- Deep understanding of data governance concepts, data quality, lineage, and privacy compliance.
- Experience with data platforms or analytics solutions, preferably SaaS.
- Ability to translate technical details into business value and actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency in data‑analysis tools and dashboards for monitoring usage, health, and KPIs.
- Demonstrated success in client‑facing consulting, driving adoption and upsell.
- Collaborative mindset to work with Product, Marketing, Sales, and community teams.
- Project management skills, able to juggle multiple accounts and initiatives simultaneously.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field.
- Professional certifications preferred: Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), or equivalent in data governance.
