Job Description
**Job title:** Data Scientist **Role Summary:** Execute 100 % data projects for clients across luxury, retail, telecom, banking, and insurance sectors. Engage in both technical modeling and business‑oriented analytics, delivering insights, forecasts, segmentations, and recommendation engines that drive decision‑making and revenue growth. **Expectations:** • Actively contribute to client‑success projects, ensuring timely, high‑quality deliverables. • Communicate complex findings clearly to non‑technical stakeholders. • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends and emerging data technologies. • Demonstrate a collaborative mindset, strong analytical rigour, and a passion for continual learning. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and validate statistical and machine‑learning models (e.g., Random Forest, XGBoost, K‑Means). - Build and industrialise forecasts, churn scores, recommendation engines, and customer segmentation solutions. - Design and maintain data pipelines, perform data wrangling, and ensure data quality. - Translate analytical results into actionable business insights through reports, dashboards, and presentations. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deploy models into production environments. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in SQL and at least one of Python, R, or SAS. - Experience with leading data‑science platforms (e.g., Dataiku, SAS, Alteryx). - Solid grasp of machine‑learning algorithms and statistical techniques. - Ability to translate business objectives into technical solutions. - Strong written and verbal communication for client and internal stakeholders. - (Optional) Familiarity with cloud platforms: GCP, AWS, Azure. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field from a university or graduate school. - Minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience in data‑science or analytics roles.
