Job Description: **Job Title** DevOps Engineer / DevOps Project Coordinator **Role Summary** Lead and coordinate end‑to‑end DevOps initiatives within a large IT organization, driving continuous integration, deployment, automation, and quality assurance across hybrid cloud/on‑premises environments. **Expectations** - 3–5 years of DevOps practice with proven project management skills. - Strong technical acumen in CI/CD, cloud migrations, and production operations. - Ability to translate technical requirements into actionable milestones and budgets. **Key Responsibilities** - Define technical scope and estimate DevOps effort with architects and security teams. - Plan, schedule, and execute technical projects (CI/CD pipelines, automation, production releases). - Coordinate release activities, orchestrating all technical stakeholders. - Ensure post‑deployment quality, transition to operations (VABF, VSR), architecture reviews, and operability. - Monitor project performance, manage associated tests and metrics. - Lead corrective actions, continuous improvement, and incident response (problem management, crisis cells, remediation plans). - Produce technical and budgetary reports for senior management. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in GitLab for code management and CI/CD automation. - Experience with JIRA for project and incident tracking. - Familiarity with ServiceNow (SNOW) for change and incident management. - Deep understanding of application architecture, hybrid cloud/on‑premise deployments, and production constraints. - Strong communication, risk analysis, and solution‑driving abilities. - Team‑player with a service‑oriented mindset. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent. - DevOps or ITIL certification is advantageous.
