**Job Title**: Director of Cloud Engineering **Role Summary**: Lead cloud transformation for a multi-cloud environment (Azure, AWS, Oracle), ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure for public sector organizations. Develop long-term strategies for cloud modernization, security, and compliance. **Expactations**: - Minimum 12 years in IT or 8 years with bachelor’s degree in IT or related field. - 10+ years in cloud architecture, infrastructure management, or cloud engineering. - Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and cloud migration initiatives. **Key Responsibilities**: - Design, implement, and optimize secure, multi-cloud architectures. - Oversee vendor management, including contracts, SLAs, and professional services. - Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Cybersecurity teams to align with compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST, CIS). - Lead automation, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) implementation. - Manage large technical teams through complex cloud modernization projects. **Required Skills**: - Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud); enterprise-scale multi-cloud environments. - Security and compliance frameworks for cloud environments. - Cloud architecture design, automation, DevOps, and cost optimization (FinOps). - Vendor relationship management and contract negotiation. - Strong leadership and communication skills to influence executive stakeholders. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Certifications preferred: AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect. - Must meet CJIS compliance and pass a background investigation.
