Job title: System and Network Administrator (F/M)
Role Summary:
Maintain and optimize the technical operation of production applications through continuous collaboration with internal teams and external vendors. Install, configure, and evolve system and network components, ensuring high availability, reliable backups, and adherence to security policies. Deploy enterprise services, manage incidents at level 2/3, participate in on‑call rotations, and support the IT department’s projects and monitoring dashboards.
Expactations:
- Operate autonomously with rigor, organization, and a customer‑service mindset.
- Provide 24/7 support during scheduled on‑call shifts (1 week every 4).
- Collaborate with managers, partners, and vendors to align solutions and ensure service continuity.
- Keep current with technology trends and propose infrastructure improvements.
- Document procedures and maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge bases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure technical stability of production applications and related infrastructures.
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade Linux servers (CentOS, Debian), application packages, and related services.
- Manage databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and networking (LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi‑Fi, multi‑site).
- Virtualize environments using Proxmox, ESX, Hyper‑V.
- Operate mail services (Postfix, Zimbra) and VOIP solutions (Xivo, 3CX).
- Perform backups, archiving, and validate restoration processes.
- Apply and enforce IT security policies.
- Deploy enterprise services for client ESN or deployment teams.
- Diagnose, resolve, and communicate incidents at level 2/3.
- Participate in on‑call duty (1 week/4).
- Manage external partner and vendor relationships.
- Conduct technological watch, recommend enhancements, and update procedures.
- Contribute to IT projects as consultant and technical support.
- Create and monitor KPI dashboards for SI infrastructure health.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Linux administration (CentOS, Debian).
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Strong networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi‑Fi, multi‑site architecting).
- Virtualization expertise (Proxmox, VMware ESXi, Hyper‑V).
- Mail server configuration (Postfix, Zimbra) and VOIP (Xivo, 3CX).
- Backup & disaster recovery implementation.
- Incident management (level 2/3).
- Documentation writing and procedure standardization.
- Effective communication and team collaboration.
- Self‑motivation and disciplined organization.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Bac +3) or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Prior successful experience in a comparable role.
- Relevant certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent are advantageous.
