Job Title: Site Protection Project Manager – Access Control / Video Surveillance (F/M)
Role Summary
Lead end‑to‑end deployment projects for site protection systems (access control, video surveillance, low‑current, telecommunications) within a major railway customer. Manage multidisciplinary teams, schedules, budgets, and quality to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery while meeting stringent rail safety standards.
Expactations
- Deliver projects within agreed scope, timelines, and financial targets.
- Coordinate business units, site supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Maintain compliance with rail industry safety, technical, and regulatory standards.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reporting.
- Identify and mitigate risks to safeguard project integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Pilot complete projects: planning, execution, monitoring, and close‑out.
- Schedule operational phases (Planning, Design, Execution, Works) using advanced planning tools.
- Oversee contractual and financial aspects of subcontractors; generate precise financial dashboards.
- Develop deliverables: meeting minutes, work orders, inventory movements, night logs, self‑control records, inspection minutes, validated documentation lists, etc.
- Conduct risk analysis; propose corrective actions to minimize critical impact.
- Facilitate regular progress meetings with internal teams, client stakeholders, and external partners.
- Ensure technical alignment for switches, routers, PABX, video encoders/decoders, GSM/Tetra radios, antennas, copper/optical cabling, and low‑current protection systems.
Required Skills
- Project management with advanced planning, budgeting, and monitoring capabilities.
- Strong understanding of telco and protection equipment deployment (switches, routers, PABX, video systems, GSM/Tetra radios, antennas, copper/optical cables).
- In‑depth knowledge of railway safety standards and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; adept at coordinating cross‑functional teams.
- Rapid problem‑solving and decisive decision‑making abilities.
Required Education & Certifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Bac+2) in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
- Significant project management experience, preferably in site protection or railway environments.
- Certification in project management (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
