Job title: Technical Recruiter (Contract)
Role Summary
Drive end‑to‑end talent acquisition for technical, product, and implementation roles in a fast‑growing, PE‑backed organization. Partner with C‑suite leaders and hiring managers to design sourcing strategies, evaluate technical fit, and deliver a high‑quality candidate pipeline within a 3–6 month contract, with potential for extension.
Expectations
* Complete 3–6 month fixed‑term assignment with performance targets related to time‑to‑fill and quality of hire.
* Develop swift, results‑oriented sourcing pipelines for tough‑to‑fill roles, primarily using passive talent.
* Maintain clear, timely communication with stakeholders and keep recruiting metrics up‑to‑date.
* Demonstrate ownership of the talent desk: proactive, autonomous, and accountable for process excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Own full‑cycle recruiting for technical, product, and implementation positions.
* Conduct intake calls, translate business needs into technical requirements, and build tailored sourcing strategies.
* Proactively source and engage passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, and other channels.
* Screen candidates for technical aptitude, cultural fit, and alignment to stakeholder expectations.
* Coordinate interview logistics, support interview panels, and facilitate a positive candidate experience.
* Provide regular status updates, offer counseling, and manage the offer process.
* Build and nurture relationships with hiring managers, CIO, and HR leadership to accelerate hiring decisions.
* Report on recruiting metrics, pipeline status, and market insights.
* Adjust hiring plans and staffing priorities as headcount needs evolve.
Required Skills
* Minimum 5 years of technical recruiting experience (corporate and agency).
* Deep understanding of modern software engineering stacks (Java, Clojure, React, Python, AWS, Terraform, CI/CD tools).
* Proven ability to source for highly skilled, niche talent and to assess technical proficiency.
* Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder‑management skills.
* Comfortable partnering with senior leaders and influencing hiring decisions.
* Autonomous, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment.
* Proficiency with ATS (Paycor preferred; other ATS acceptable).
* Senior level proficiency with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and candidate databases.
Required Education & Certifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent work experience accepted).
* Professional recruiter certification (e.g., CRA, HRCI, SHRM) is desirable but not mandatory.
