Job Description
**Job title** Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer (H/F) **Role Summary** Provide senior instrumentation and controls engineering support for an FPSO project within the Operations & Maintenance team. Oversee technical preparation, testing, and integration of DCS, SIS, and ICSS systems, ensuring alignment with safety, fire, and gas regulations. **Expections** - Minimum 10‑15 years of instrumentation and controls experience, specifically on FPSO or similar oil & gas offshore projects. - Proven expertise in control and safety system design, installation, and validation for offshore/onshore environments. - Ability to manage complex interfaces and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. - Proficiency in French and English; written and verbal communication in both. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Support preparatory activities: issuance of procedures, oversight of OTS contractual deliverables, telecommunications configuration. 2. Assist with FAT/SAT test planning and execution. 3. Draft, validate, and update technical specifications for DCS, SIS, and ICSS platforms. 4. Design and refine control-system architectures and address interface requirements. 5. Conduct engineering studies (both basic and detailed) for component selection and system integration. 6. Manage internal and external interface coordination, ensuring alignment between stakeholders. 7. Lead validation activities for control, safety, fire suppression, and gas detection installations. 8. Prepare functional specifications, including functional analysis, control logic documents, cause‑effect matrices, and logical schematics. **Required Skills** - Deep knowledge of oil & gas control and safety systems (DCS, SIS, ICSS). - Familiarity with Emerson instrumentation equipment and associated software. - Strong interface management and stakeholder communication. - Excellent analytical and documentation skills (MS Office, Visio). - Valid offshore medical fitness certificate. - Fluent in French and English. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent). - Professional engineering registration (PE, PEng, or similar) strongly preferred. ---
