Job Description

Job Title: Quality Assurance Lead Role Summary: Lead the end‑to‑end quality assurance for a chatbot LLM product, defining testing strategy, designing and executing comprehensive test plans, and coordinating onshore and offshore teams to ensure high‑quality releases. Expectations: - Minimum 5 years of QA leadership experience, preferably in AI/ML or chatbot development. - Proven track record of delivering reliable releases on schedule. - Strong written and verbal communication across cross‑functional teams. - Ability to work independently and proactively manage risks and blockers. Key Responsibilities: - Define test strategies, scope, and objectives aligned with project requirements. - Identify test scenarios, create detailed test plans, and estimate effort. - Design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, integration, API, and automation test cases, employing GenAI tools where applicable. - Log, track, and analyze defects; ensure timely resolution and provide clear defect reports. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to triage and prioritize issues. - Coordinate testing activities between onshore and offshore teams, ensuring consistent practices across time zones. - Participate in agile ceremonies: daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. - Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers in the testing process and propose mitigation plans. Required Skills: - Expertise in test strategy formulation and detailed test planning. - Proficient in functional, regression, integration, API, and automation testing. - Familiarity with GenAI for automated test generation and defect analysis. - Strong defect tracking and reporting using tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team collaboration. - Knowledge of agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - QA certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Test Manager or equivalent are preferred.
