**Job title:**
Cloud Engineering – Technical Lead
**Role Summary:**
Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable AWS cloud infrastructures using Terraform. Oversee CI/CD pipelines, conduct code reviews, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure secure, cost‑optimized, high‑performance solutions.
**Expectations:**
- 12‑20 years of cloud engineering experience.
- Proven senior technical leadership in AWS and DevOps environments.
- Strong communication, mentorship, and Agile delivery skills.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design cloud environments, create design documents, and runbooks.
- Build, test, and deploy Terraform‑based infrastructure to test and production, monitor deployments, and update stakeholders.
- Develop custom Terraform modules, use functions, and configure a custom backend.
- Integrate and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, OIDC, and Atlantis.
- Perform secure code reviews with tools such as TFSec, GitLeaks, and Semgrep; manage secrets with AWS Secrets Manager.
- Design and troubleshoot services across AWS: Lambda, EKS, ECS (ECR), EC2, ASG, SSM, Control Tower, Cognito, Route53, S3 (lifecycle, bucket, expiration).
- Implement Advanced S3 usage, lifecycle policies, IAM, and S3 content deployment.
- Apply AWS Well‑Architected Framework principles – Security, Cost Optimization, Performance.
- Mentor and lead a cross‑functional team; conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Deliver regular updates in Agile/Scrum contexts using Jira or Azure DevOps.
**Required Skills:**
- Advanced Terraform proficiency (modules, functions, custom backend).
- Deep AWS expertise (Lambda, EKS, ECS, EC2, ASG, SSM, Control Tower, Cognito, Route53, Secrets Manager, S3).
- CI/CD tooling: GitHub Actions, Atlantis, OIDC authentication.
- Security tools: TFSec, GitLeaks, Semgrep.
- DevOps practices: automated deployments, monitoring, incident response.
- Strong communication (verbal, written, IM).
- Interpersonal teamwork, mentorship, constructive feedback.
- Analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- BE/BTech in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Optional AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional) considered advantageous.
