Job Description
**Job Title:** Project Manager (Clinical) **Role Summary:** Lead Clinical Information Systems (Clinical IS) initiatives, focusing on clinical applications and Epic-integrated projects, ensuring successful delivery from initiation through stabilization. Support clinical growth, infrastructure, and facility readiness. **Expectations:** - Direct 1 large or 2–3 concurrent Clinical IS projects. - Coordinate cross-functional clinical, IT, and operational teams. - Align clinical workflows, technology, and staffing for new or expanded care environments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Execute projects through all lifecycle phases (planning, testing, go-live, closeout). - Oversee clinical application delivery, including Epic integration. - Plan and activate new clinical units/clinics, ensuring operational readiness. - Validate system testing, train end users, and provide post-implementation support. - Track project risks, dependencies, and timelines; report to leadership. - Troubleshoot clinical systems, workflow, and care environment challenges. **Required Skills:** - Project management in healthcare (3–5 years). - Clinical knowledge (e.g., RN background, informatics). - Epic experience or Cerner/ORACLE Health Cerner (with Epic exposure). - Cross-functional coordination (clinical, IT, facilities). - Proficiency in testing, training, and go-live support. - Problem-solving in dynamic environments. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. - PMP certification advantageous (not mandatory).
