**Job Title:** Head of Data Strategy, Insights & Engineering
**Role Summary:**
Leads the enterprise-wide data strategy, overseeing the design, development, and delivery of scalable data products and insight solutions. Drives a high‑performing data engineering and insights organization, partners with senior leadership to align data capabilities with business objectives, and champions adoption of emerging data technologies while ensuring governance, compliance, and operational excellence.

- Build, mentor, and retain a diverse, high‑performing team of data engineers and insights leaders.
- Manage multi‑million‑dollar budgets and portfolio of data initiatives.
- Influence C‑suite stakeholders and secure executive sponsorship for data initiatives.
- Ensure data governance, security, and regulatory compliance across all solutions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define and execute the data strategy, roadmap, and governance framework.
- Recruit, develop, and lead cross‑functional data engineering and insights teams.
- Architect reusable, customer‑centric data products and platforms for multiple business units.
- Oversee delivery of advanced analytics, digital insight capabilities, and unified data experiences.
- Evaluate, select, and manage external data vendors and technology partners.
- Drive adoption of modern data engineering practices, cloud ecosystems, AI/ML, and emerging technologies.
- Partner with business leaders to translate objectives into data solutions and future‑state capabilities.
- Monitor performance, enforce compliance, and continuously improve delivery processes.
**Required Skills:**
- 10+ years in data analytics, CRM/digital analytics, or insights strategy.
- Proven strategic leadership and executive stakeholder management.
- Deep expertise in data engineering, analytics, data governance, and digital delivery.
- Strong track record building and leading high‑performing, cross‑functional teams.
- Budget and portfolio management of multi‑million‑dollar programs.
- Change management and complex program leadership.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI/ML concepts (preferred).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field (required).
- Master’s degree (MBA or related) or PhD preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CDMP, AWS Certified Data Analytics, Google Professional Data Engineer, or similar (preferred).
