Commerce Cloud Architect
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud solutions for diverse industries. Translate business requirements into scalable eCommerce architectures, guide workshops, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to launch, integrate, and optimize sales channels, including PWA, eCDN, and Einstein features.
**Expectations**
- Own full project life cycles from analysis to production launch.
- Deliver workshops, technical documentation, and architecture diagrams.
- Present solutions and outcomes to steering committees and client stakeholders.
- Maintain clean code, refactor for performance, and ensure Core Web Vitals compliance.
- Demonstrate a proactive, "get‑the‑job‑done" mindset and client‑centric focus.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Translate business requirements into detailed architecture designs and documentation.
2. Conduct workshops with architects, developers, and functional experts to define solutions.
3. Design, configure, and launch B2C Commerce Cloud channels, including eCDN, Einstein, and PWA apps.
4. Integrate third‑party services and APIs using JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, React, Vue, NodeJS).
5. Perform architecture reviews, refactoring, and code quality assurance.
6. Monitor and optimize performance against Core Web Vitals standards.
7. Liaise with stakeholders, present technical concepts, and secure approvals for initiatives.
8. Keep abreast of emerging trends in digital commerce and advocate for innovation.
**Required Skills**
- Certified Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud Architect.
- 5–8 years of experience on Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud, 2+ years in an architectural role.
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS, React, Vue, and NodeJS.
- Experience building PWA applications and managing Core Web Vitals.
- Strong coding practices: clean code, refactoring, unit and integration testing.
- Experience with eCDN, Einstein, and other Salesforce Commerce products (OMS/B2B) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; knowledge of Dutch or French is a bonus.
- Presentation and stakeholder‑management skills; ability to influence steering and executive committees.
- Demonstrated passion for digital transformation and emerging eCommerce technologies.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Salesforce Certified B2C Commerce Cloud Architect (mandatory).
- Additional Salesforce commerce certifications (e.g., B2B Commerce, B2C Advanced) are advantageous.
