Job Description
Job title: Senior Construction Engineer Role Summary: Lead and coordinate multiple construction projects, managing contract administration, team performance, budgeting, and stakeholder communication to ensure timely, safe, and quality project delivery. Expectations: Deliver project outcomes within scope, schedule, and budget; demonstrate strong leadership and decision‑making; uphold safety, quality, and environmental standards; maintain effective client and subcontractor relations; adapt to evolving project requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Drive contract management and procurement of subcontracting services. - Plan, prepare, and supervise on‑site operations across assigned projects. - Lead and coach field and office teams to achieve performance targets. - Develop, monitor, and enforce project budgets and financial controls. - Track work progress, generate status reports, and manage invoicing and payments. - Coordinate production teams, ensuring seamless execution of tasks. - Represent the company to clients, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders. - Enforce compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations. Required Skills: - 8–10 years’ experience in construction project management or construction engineering. - Proficient in contractual, technical, and financial oversight of construction works. - Strong contract negotiation and subcontractor management capabilities. - Excellent organizational, team‑leadership, and communication skills. - Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement continuous improvement. - Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality assurance, and environmental stewardship. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline. - Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or construction engineering preferred.
