Job Description
Job Title: Business Systems Manager Role Summary: Own and manage the end‑to‑end business systems landscape including ERP, Shopify, WMS, and associated integrations. Deliver day‑to‑day stability, optimise performance, and lead improvement projects to support trading, customer experience, and operational efficiency. Expectations: • Become fully self‑sufficient within a phased handover period. • Prioritise initiatives based on commercial impact and trading urgency. • Balance reactive issue resolution with proactive system and process enhancements. • Maintain high service levels for internal users and external partners (e.g., Next, John Lewis). • Provide clear, business‑focused communication of technical solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Own configuration, troubleshooting, and optimisation of Khaos Control ERP and Shopify. • Maintain documentation, workflows, and process mapping for all supported systems. • Manage data synchronisation and integration performance across ERP, Shopify, WMS, PIM, and forecasting tools; resolve failures and elevate when required. • Oversee vendor relationships, support tickets, and service level agreements for platform vendors and outsourced IT partners. • Coordinate IT infrastructure, software licences, POS systems, and user access controls. • Collaborate cross‑functionally with merchandising, operations, warehouse, trading, customer care, and finance to translate business needs into system changes. • Lead projects on infrastructure upgrades, workflow optimisation, and technology support for retail expansion and store readiness. Required Skills: • Proven hands‑on experience with Shopify and ERP administration (Khaos Control highly advantageous). • Strong commercial awareness, prioritising by trading and customer impact. • Experience managing multi‑channel integration, EDIs, and data flows. • Ability to work independently with minimal internal support. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management; translates technical concepts to non‑technical teams. • Balanced skill set in reactive issue resolution and structured improvement planning.
