Job Description
**Job Title:** Axiom Developer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and maintain AxiomSL solutions, translating business and regulatory requirements into functional technical specifications. Lead ETL processes, data quality management, and performance optimization across integrated reporting environments. **Expectations:** - Deliver accurate, compliant AxiomSL components within agreed timelines. - Collaborate cross‑functionally to interpret changing regulatory mandates and update reporting artifacts. - Uphold SDLC and agile best practices, ensuring documentation and stakeholder approval at each release milestone. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and configure AxiomSL data sources, models, shorthands, portfolios, aggregations, and tabular/free‑form reports. - Translate regulatory and business rules into functional specifications and AxiomSL implementation. - Execute ETL workflows to pull, transform, and load data from disparate source systems. - Troubleshoot data quality and performance issues, implementing corrective measures. - Participate in component migrations across environments and over time zones. - Collaborate with stakeholders to revise reporting templates in response to regulatory updates. - Conduct unit testing, performance tuning, and automation of Axiom workflows. - Maintain comprehensive documentation and support user acceptance testing. - Adhere to SDLC processes and Agile development cycles. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in AxiomSL configuration and development. - Strong understanding of ETL concepts and tools. - Experience with data quality monitoring and performance tuning. - Ability to interpret regulatory requirements (e.g., Basel III, IFRS, CECL). - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, or related field. - AxiomSL certifications (e.g., AxiomSL Core, Extended Development) preferred. - Experience with SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) advantageous.
