Job title: DevOps Engineer
Role Summary:
Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining highly available, secure, and scalable cloud-native platforms using AWS and Kubernetes. Leads global expansion, CI/CD pipeline development for web and mobile, and ensures regulatory compliance across distributed infrastructure.
Expectations:
- Deliver robust, secure platform solutions that empower feature teams.
- Lead international deployment and multi‑regional architecture.
- Proactively manage security posture and compliance requirements.
- Provide on‑call and off‑business‑hours support when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and manage AWS and Kubernetes environments for multi‑region scale.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines for frontend, backend, and Android/iOS platforms.
- Monitor system performance, apply security patches, and conduct regular vulnerability assessments.
- Investigate and triage security alerts and incidents; implement IAM, access controls, and encryption mechanisms.
- Ensure continuous compliance with PCI‑DSS, SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST, and other standards.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
- Participate in on‑call rotation and provide 24/7 infrastructure support.
Required Skills:
- 6+ years of IT experience across architecture, networking, application development, middleware, database, or operations.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes and AWS cloud-native technologies.
- Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines for web and mobile platforms.
- Strong scripting skills (Unix shell; Python preferred).
- Solid understanding of network architecture, application development methodologies, and globally distributed infrastructure challenges.
- Knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools, CVE, CVSS, ISO 27001, NIST, and security standards.
- Familiarity with PKI, TLS, encryption, and host/network troubleshooting tools.
- Experience with compliance programs (PCI‑DSS, SOC2) and vulnerability management across infrastructure tiers.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Kubernetes Administrator, or security certifications) are a plus.
