Entrepreneur in Residence – Future CEO / Founder
**Role Summary**
A full‑time executive who will co‑found, launch, and lead a new B2B SaaS startup within a venture studio environment. The role combines product vision, business strategy, fundraising, and team building with direct mentorship from seasoned founders and advisors.
**Expectations**
- Commit exclusively to building a new SaaS venture.
- Assume CEO responsibilities, owning the P/L and equity stake.
- Navigate all startup functions (product, sales, marketing, ops, finance).
- Lead early‑stage validation, prototype development, and market traction.
- Prepare for and execute pre‑seed and seed fundraising.
- Partner with a cross‑functional team of designers, engineers, and marketers from day one.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify and validate high‑potential SaaS ideas with domain expertise.
- Define product‑market fit through prototype creation and customer testing.
- Assemble and lead a multidisciplinary team (engineering, product, sales, marketing).
- Built and iterate a scalable revenue model.
- Own financial management: budgeting, P/L, and capital allocation.
- Pitch to investors, negotiate term sheets, and secure venture funding.
- Establish early metrics, reporting dashboards, and growth KPIs.
- Align with venture studio’s playbook, leveraging existing processes to mitigate risk.
**Required Skills**
- Proven track record as a co‑founder or senior leader in a B2B SaaS or product company.
- Strong product sense and ability to translate market problems into technical solutions.
- Executable sales and marketing strategy with a data‑driven mindset.
- Fundraising experience: pitching, investor relations, and closing deals.
- Leadership and team‑building capabilities: hiring, mentorship, and culture setting.
- Financial acumen: P/L ownership, budgeting, and valuation comprehension.
- Domain expertise in a high‑growth SaaS industry (e.g., sales tech, HR tech, fintech, healthtech).
- Ability to iterate quickly, make decisions under ambiguity, and pivot when necessary.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
