Job Description

**Job title** Azure DevOps Engineer **Role Summary** Provide end‑to‑end design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions on Microsoft Azure. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate development, testing, and operations workflows, enabling rapid and reliable delivery of applications. **Expectations** - Deliver robust DevOps practices for 12+ months in a hybrid onsite environment. - Serve as an independent consultant; no C2C arrangements. - Hold local eligibility requirements. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, configure, and manage Azure Pipelines for build, release, and testing automation. - Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Azure Resource Manager templates, Terraform, or ARM. - Integrate source control repositories (Git, Azure Repos) with build and deployment workflows. - Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot failures, and optimize build times. - Ensure secure and compliant code pipelines, including branch policies, approval gating, and artifact versioning. - Collaborate with application developers, QA, and Ops to refine deployment strategies and release schedules. - Provide documentation and training to stakeholders on DevOps processes and tools. **Required Skills** - Deep knowledge of Azure DevOps Server/Services, Git, and Azure Pipelines. - Experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions). - Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) and template languages (YAML, ARM). - Understanding of cloud security, identity, and compliance best practices. - Strong problem‑solving and communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification (AZ-400) preferred. ---
