Job Description
**Job Title** Business Excellence Manager (Operations Excellence) **Role Summary** Lead and execute end‑to‑end business excellence initiatives across the sales organization. Drive sales force effectiveness (SFE), CRM adoption, incentive plan alignment, data governance, and strategic account coverage to improve operational performance and support strategic execution. **Expectations** * Deliver measurable improvements in sales productivity and territory alignment. * Ensure high adoption of CRM and analytics tools, producing actionable insights for sales and leadership. * Align incentive structures with global standards and local execution. * Maintain data quality and governance to support fast, accurate decision making. * Partner closely with sales, finance, and IT to enable streamlined processes and technology utilization. **Key Responsibilities** - Plan, launch, and measure SFE initiatives, tracking KPIs and implementing corrective actions. - Design and execute territory alignment, sales capacity modeling, and skills‑gap programs. - Develop segmentation, profiling, and targeting strategies; drive account‑level coverage planning. - Own CRM (VEEVA/Salesforce) adoption: train users, enforce data standards, and champion best practices. - Provide commercial analytics, building dashboards and insights to guide tactical and strategic decisions. - Lead the local implementation of the Sales Incentive Plan (SIP); monitor health, adjust structures, and ensure alignment with global policies. - Oversee data governance: improve data quality, accessibility, and security across sales and CRM platforms. - Partner with sales leaders to embed excellence into brand, funnel, and profitability objectives. - Manage a team of IT consultants, supervising daily operations, application support, and technology projects. **Required Skills** * Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with experience creating dashboards, KPI frameworks, and data‑driven recommendations. * Proficiency in CRM systems (VEEVA, Salesforce) and business‑intelligence tools. * Expertise in sales incentive design and performance management. * Knowledge of data governance, quality assurance, and data‑modeling principles. * Process improvement methodology (Lean, Six Sigma) and change‑management experience. * Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and cross‑functional collaboration. * Leadership capability to manage teams, influence senior executives, and drive initiatives. **Required Education & Certifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. * 5–7 years of progressive experience in a business‑excellence or operations role within the pharmaceutical industry. * Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Green/Black, Certified Business Analysis Professional) are a plus.
