Job Title: Quality Engineer – International eCommerce
Role Summary: Own the end‑to‑end quality assurance of data products, analytics solutions, and eCommerce web, API, and mobile applications across international regions. Lead testing strategy, automation framework development, CI/CD integration, and cross‑functional collaboration within an Agile environment.
Expectations: Deliver defect‑free, high‑quality releases by designing robust test plans, executing automated suites, and mentoring a team of automation developers. Manage test data, ensure alignment with business and technical stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement of testing standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Define testing strategy and approach for new and enhanced functionality.
- Decompose functional and non‑functional requirements into test scripts and scenarios.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Implement comprehensive test data management and automate data provisioning across phases.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Lead and mentor automation developers, setting clear expectations and fostering skill growth.
- Collaborate with product, development, QA, and other internal teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Author test cases per standards, prepare required test data, and document testing requirements, strategies, and procedures.
- Drive adoption of quality assurance standards, best practices, and software testing methodologies.
- Coordinate resolution of dependencies across value streams and shared services.
- Provide accurate project estimates, including QE resourcing and testing schedules.
Required Skills
- Minimum 7 years of software quality assurance engineering experience, including hands‑on test automation.
- Proven track record in automating large‑scale, multi‑system integrated applications (web, API, mobile).
- Expertise in automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Postman, JUnit, TestNG).
- Strong scripting skills (Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, GitLab CI) and test integration.
- Knowledge of data‑driven testing, test data management, and regression strategy.
- Familiarity with SAP and cloud‑based eCommerce platforms advantageous.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentorship abilities.
- Ability to work across onshore and offshore teams in a fast‑paced Agile environment.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Professional QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSM, or equivalent) preferred.
