**Job Title** Healthcare Cloud Security Engineer **Role Summary** Senior cloud security specialist responsible for securing Azure and multi‑cloud environments for a healthcare client. Designs, implements, and manages security controls, identity and access management, continuous monitoring, and incident response in alignment with NIST, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, and CIS frameworks. **Expectations** - 6‑month contract with potential hire - Senior level with proven expertise in healthcare cloud security - Must hold CISSP certification and have direct experience in healthcare compliance **Key Responsibilities** 1. Lead the design and implementation of cloud security controls across Azure and other cloud platforms. 2. Enforce NIST, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, and CIS frameworks during cloud migration and ongoing operations. 3. Configure and maintain IAM (Entra ID), CSPM tools (e.g., Wiz), SIEM/EDR solutions, automation pipelines, and vulnerability management processes. 4. Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and MSP partners to deploy and maintain security technologies for identity, network, endpoint, and cloud infrastructure. 5. Drive continuous improvement of detection and response: validate alerts, triage escalations, tune tools, and develop runbooks and incident response procedures. 6.
