Job Description
Job title: Technical Project Manager Role Summary: Lead and deliver cross‑disciplinary technical initiatives that combine hardware, firmware, and software. Translate strategic goals into executable epics, stories, and specifications while ensuring on‑time, within‑scope, and high‑quality delivery. Serve as the bridge between engineering, product, data, operations, and business stakeholders. Expectations: - Own end‑to‑end project success, meeting business and engineering objectives. - Deliver scalable, repeatable project management processes for multi‑stage hardware/software life cycles. - Maintain transparency with executive stakeholders through dashboards and reports. - Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across teams. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, execute, and close technical projects; define roadmaps, milestones, and success metrics. - Identify and mitigate risks; lead release readiness reviews and post‑launch retrospectives. - Translate business requirements into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specs. - Coordinate sprint ceremonies, sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retros, ensuring velocity and accountability. - Facilitate collaboration among internal staff, third‑party vendors, and delivery partners. - Oversee QA/UAT testing, bug tracking, and documentation. - Provide status updates, dashboards, and executive‑level reporting; manage dependencies and expectations. - Perform additional duties as assigned by CTO and Engineering Leaders. Required Skills: - Strong understanding of SDLC, firmware, embedded systems, cloud services, and application deployments. - Expertise in hardware‑software integration, API, cloud platforms, and data pipelines. - Ability to plan, sequence, and execute complex multi‑release programs. - Proficiency in release readiness reviews, go/no‑go frameworks, and retrospectives. - Data‑driven tracking and performance monitoring. - Excellent facilitation, alignment, and stakeholder communication skills. - Bias for action, ownership, and resilience in ambiguous environments. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. - Experience managing hardware‑software release lifecycles; certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or similar preferred.
