**Job Title**
Project Manager – Insurance Operations
**Role Summary**
Lead and manage end‑to‑end insurance operations projects lasting two years or more, coordinating business, technical, and stakeholder requirements across enterprise functions. Drive project planning, execution, status reporting, and risk mitigation, ensuring alignment with executive leadership and smooth transition of business processes.
**Expectations**
- Deliver complex, multi‑unit projects on schedule, scope, and budget.
- Apply both waterfall and agile methodologies to meet business objectives.
- Communicate effectively with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including business implementation, readiness, and technical milestones.
- Facilitate business case & requirement documentation, decision‑making, and stakeholder alignment.
- Create and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios, obtain approvals, and manage defect resolution with IT.
- Compile, analyze, and present detailed status reports covering business, readiness, and technical inputs.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, collaborating with IT and third‑party vendors.
- Coordinate transition and hand‑off of ongoing business activities at project closure.
**Required Skills**
- 5+ years of project management experience with business scope.
- 3+ years in health or insurance industry.
- Proven leadership of cross‑functional, complex projects involving IT, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem‑solving, and facilitation skills.
- Detail‑oriented yet capable of maintaining a strategic view.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), MS Project, SharePoint, Teams.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, IT, or related health field.
- PMP certification preferred.
