Job Description
Job Title: Senior Manager, Public Affairs – Structural Heart (France) Role Summary: Strategic partner driving market access for Edwards’ Breakthrough Implantable Devices (BID) in structural heart disease and advanced critical care. Lead pricing, reimbursement, and policy initiatives across the French healthcare system, ensuring timely patient access and alignment with business unit objectives. Expectations: - 8–10 years of senior market‑access experience in France (pharma or medical‑device sector). - Proven leadership, project‑management, and stakeholder‑management skills. - Strong analytical, communication, and influencing abilities in matrix environments. - Ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver results under tight deadlines, and collaborate cross‑functionally. Key Responsibilities: - Own and execute market‑access projects (CNEDiMTS, CEESP) and deliverables. - Create therapeutic/device charge codes, secure value recognition, and obtain reimbursement approvals. - Select and manage external consultants as needed. - Identify and develop market‑access opportunities within strategic accounts. - Guide external project teams and contribute to product launch activities. - Evaluate and improve market‑access processes; propose course corrections. - Participate in industry workgroups (e.g., SNITEM) to influence policy and represent company interests. - Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, health authorities, and internal partners. - Represent leadership on cross‑functional projects and provide consultation on implementation. - Ensure compliance with company policies, data privacy, and safety regulations. Required Skills: - Deep knowledge of French pricing & reimbursement frameworks and healthcare policy. - Expertise in health economics, clinical trial methodology, and pricing strategy. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint). - Exceptional written and oral communication in French and English. - Strong negotiation, influence, and relationship‑building skills. - Detail‑oriented, analytical, and able to translate complex technical information into actionable insights. Required Education & Certifications: - Scientific degree (PharmD, MD, Engineering, etc.) required. - Additional qualification in Health Economics, Business, Political Sciences, or Communications preferred. - Relevant certifications in market access, health economics, or reimbursement (e.g., GPP, CE, NICE).
