**Job Title:**
UAT Test Lead (Consulting)
**Role Summary:**
Lead user acceptance testing for a large-scale Human Capital Management (HCM) implementation within a commercial banking environment. Develop and execute UAT strategy, coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders, manage test artifacts, and ensure defect resolution and readiness for go‑live.
**Expectations:**
- Own UAT strategy and deliverables from scoping to completion.
- Foster collaboration between business users, IT QA, and project leadership.
- Maintain rigorous quality standards, timely reporting, and proactive risk mitigation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define UAT scope, objectives, success criteria, and test plans with centralized QA Lead and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with IT QA to validate user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases.
- Train, guide, and manage business users participating in UAT; ensure access and readiness.
- Create and maintain test scripts, test data, and documentation (manual & automated).
- Execute UAT cycles, capture defects, and drive resolution with IT/technical teams.
- Escalate critical blockers, coordinate cross‑functional issue resolution, and update project leadership on status, risk, and readiness.
- Deliver training materials and support documentation for testers and stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor on UAT strategy, resource planning, and deployment readiness.
**Required Skills:**
- 10+ years in User Acceptance Testing (manual & automated) and software quality assurance.
- 2+ years as a UAT Test Lead, driving strategy and execution.
- 2+ years project experience with HR/HCM systems (e.g., Workday, UKG).
- Strong understanding of SDLC, project management methodologies, and QA best practices.
- Expertise in test case creation, defect tracking, debugging, and test documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional coordination skills, including experience working across time zones.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Finance, Business, or related field.
- Certifications in software quality assurance or testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) preferred but not mandatory.
