Job Description: **Job Title** Senior Quality Assurance Engineer **Role Summary** Lead end-to-end quality assurance for a high-traffic web application, ensuring reliability, performance, and defect-free releases through comprehensive manual and automated testing, load testing, and CI/CD integration. **Expectations** - Minimum 4 years of QA/testing experience in software development. - Deep understanding of regression testing, test case lifecycle, and performance testing. - Proven ability to design and maintain automation frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with development and product teams. - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. **Key Responsibilities** - Create, maintain, and execute functional and regression test cases based on specifications. - Develop and maintain end‑to‑end automation scripts using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent. - Design and run load/performance tests with tools such as k6, Artillery, or Loader.io. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality. - Identify performance bottlenecks, recommend optimizations, and track resolution. - Document test results, defect reports, and improvement recommendations. - Stay current with testing best practices, emerging tools, and industry trends. **Required Skills** - Manual regression testing fundamentals. - Automation frameworks: Selenium/Cypress/Playwright. - Load testing: k6, Artillery, Loader.io. - API testing: Postman, Cypress or similar. - CI/CD knowledge (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). - Strong analytical reasoning and troubleshooting. - Effective verbal and written communication. - Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - ISTQB or equivalent QA certification preferred.
