Job Description
**Job title**: Director of Sales & Commercial Development **Role Summary** Lead the commercial growth of a fast‑growing industrial start‑up by driving sales and market expansion across pharmacies and parapharmacies. Own strategy, forecasting, KPIs, and team management to achieve revenue targets and build strong client relationships. **Expectations** - Achieve annual sales forecasts and performance targets for the pharmacy channel. - Build and maintain a high‑performing account management team. - Deliver clear, data‑driven reporting to executive leadership. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Strategic & Commercial Performance - Develop annual forecasting and monthly/quarterly action plans. - Set team goals, design variable compensation plans, and track performance. - Analyse sales KPIs, identify growth levers, and adjust tactics in real time. - Provide regular reporting to senior management and optimise commercial processes. 2. Commercial Development & Account Management - Manage key strategic accounts and negotiate complex contracts. - Prospect new pharmacy and parapharmacy clients nationwide. - Support field activities to enhance brand presence and capture new opportunities. - Represent the company at trade shows and industry events. 3. Team Leadership & Development - Recruit, coach, motivate, and upskill the sales team. - Define roles, priorities and ensure clear responsibilities. - Implement effective managerial rituals and performance reviews. **Required Skills** - Proven experience (≥4 years) as Sector Manager or equivalent in pharmacy/parapharmacy sales. - Minimum 3 years of commercial team management. - Strong negotiation, sales technique, and result‑orientation. - Expertise in performance analysis, KPI management, and data reporting (Excel, CRM). - Leadership ability to align a team around shared goals. - Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+4/5) in Sales, Business, or Management (or equivalent). - Any relevant sales or commercial certifications is an advantage.
