Job Description
**Job Title:** Workstation Engineer (M/F) **Role Summary:** Design, implement, and secure workstation environments across converging information systems. Ensure operational stability, enforce security standards, and support strategic projects with high constraints. **Expectations:** - Maintain optimal operation of hardware and software infrastructures for end‑user environments. - Respond to incidents and problems, ensuring timely resolution and root‑cause analysis. - Continuously improve workstation performance, security posture, and user experience. **Key Responsibilities:** - Converge workstation configurations across multiple systems (GPO, packaging, Windows Installer, APPX, registry, scheduled tasks) using MECM. - Strengthen workstation security in production and LPM environments; manage patch selection and deployment (KB control). - Administer Microsoft 365 client settings on workstations and tenant level. - Integrate business and third‑party applications into the IT ecosystem. - Perform technology watch and drive continuous improvement initiatives. - Support continuity solutions and participate in backup testing. - Manage vulnerability tools (Qualys, Splunk) and contribute to user‑experience enhancements. **Required Skills:** - Expertise in Group Policy Objects (GPO) and workstation configuration. - Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution abilities. - Advanced PowerShell scripting for automation and packaging. - Proficient with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM). - Patch management planning and execution. - Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are a plus.
