**Job Title:** Electronics Engineer (Embedded C)
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and validate hardware and embedded firmware for high‑performance sports technology devices. Drive end‑to‑end product development, ensuring reliable sensor integration, real‑time data acquisition, and robust firmware operation in demanding athletic environments.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver functional prototypes on schedule within the product development lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate design documentation, test reports, and maintenance records.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with hardware, software, and product teams to meet performance specifications.
- Adhere to quality, safety, and regulatory standards applicable to sports equipment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Design and validate PCB schematics, layouts, and component selection for sports sensor platforms.
2. Develop, debug, and maintain embedded C firmware for microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex‑M).
3. Implement real‑time data acquisition, signal conditioning, and communication protocols (UART, I²C, SPI, CAN).
4. Create and execute functional, electrical, and environmental test plans; analyze failures and define corrective actions.
5. Integrate low‑power and high‑accuracy analog front‑ends; optimize PCB design for EMI/EMC compliance.
6. Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and design change management.
7. Contribute to firmware update mechanisms (bootloaders, OTA) and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
8. Provide technical support during production ramp, field testing, and post‑market service.
**Required Skills:**
- Minimum 3 years of embedded systems development experience in C.
- Proficient with IDEs (Keil µVision, IAR Embedded Workbench, Eclipse GCC) and Git version control.
- Strong knowledge of MCU architectures, GPIO, ADC/DAC, and communication protocols.
- Familiarity with real‑time operating systems (FreeRTOS, ThreadX).
- Experience with PCB design tools (Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD) and simulation utilities (LTspice, Simulink).
- Skilled in debugging techniques using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG/debug probes.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, BOMs, and datasheets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; teamwork and documentation skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer, ARM Accredited Engineer) are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Experience with sports‑technology or high‑performance sensor applications is highly preferred.
