**Job Title:** Vendor Management Intern **Role Summary:** Support the analysis of strategic vendor performance, risk, and contractual commitments. Assist in coordinating vendor “health checks” across procurement, IT, claims, and underwriting teams while developing analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills. **Expectations:** - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and maintain professional communication. - Complete assigned tasks and projects accurately and on time. - Proactively identify and resolve issues; seek feedback and apply learning. - Participate in training, workshops, and internship events. - Maintain accurate records, prepare reports/presentations, and attend meetings as required. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist with vendor health‑check scheduling, follow‑up, and documentation. - Conduct research, gather data, and perform basic data analysis related to vendor performance. - Support day‑to‑day operations of the vendor management unit, including data entry and record keeping. - Prepare and deliver presentations and reports for business unit meetings. - Contribute to project work, often in collaboration with other interns and associates. - Perform administrative tasks and support departmental workflow. **Required Skills:** - Basic data analysis and reporting (Excel or similar). - Proficiency with information systems and data entry. - Strong written and verbal communication. - Time management and ability to prioritize tasks. - Problem‑solving and business analysis aptitude. - Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment (≥3 days in office). - Collaborative mindset with customer‑focus orientation. **Required Education & Certifications:** - High School Diploma/GED or equivalent. - Currently enrolled in or recently (within 12 months) graduated from a degree program relevant to business, finance, supply chain, or a related field.
