**Job Title**: Atlassian Technical Consultant
**Role Summary**:
Engineer and deliver end‑to‑end Atlassian solutions for mid‑to‑large enterprises, including Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management. Drive product configuration, migrations from Data Center to Cloud, automation, AI‑enhancements, and marketplace app integration while partnering with customers, stakeholders, and pre‑sales teams to align solutions with business goals.
**Expactations**:
- Own full delivery lifecycle from discovery to post‑migration stabilization.
- Translate business requirements into functional technical designs.
- Communicate insights and recommendations to non‑technical audiences.
- Manage multiple concurrent engagements with minimal supervision.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead discovery workshops, requirements gathering, and solution design with business and technical stakeholders.
- Design, configure, and implement Jira, Confluence, and JSM (workflows, permissions, custom fields, SLAs, knowledge bases, portals).
- Plan, execute, and validate Data Center → Cloud migrations or consolidations.
- Develop native automation and ScriptRunner scripts; build integrations using Python and Atlassian REST APIs.
- Recommend, assess, and deploy AI‑enabled tools (e.g., Rovo, knowledge management, workflow optimizers).
- Evaluate and configure marketplace apps within Cloud/Data Center constraints.
- Contribute to pre‑sales activities: solution proposals, estimates, scopes, assumptions, and high‑level cost models.
- Produce best‑practice documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.
**Required Skills**:
- 5+ years Atlassian administration/consulting (Jira, Confluence, JSM) across mid‑ to large‑scale environments.
- Proven experience with Data Center & Cloud deployments and at least one significant migration.
- Advanced ScriptRunner and Atlassian automation expertise; Python proficiency; REST API integration.
- Experience applying AI tools to knowledge, support, or workflow automation.
- Familiarity with Atlassian ecosystem (Org Admin, Guard, Assets, Plans, Analytics, Forge).
- Cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS, Azure).
- Strong written and spoken English; excellent stakeholder communication.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple engagements.
**Required Education & Certifications**:
- Post‑secondary or university degree in Technology or equivalent.
- Atlassian certifications (Cloud‑focused preferred).
