Job Description
Job title: Research Analyst, Wealth Role Summary: Conduct in‑depth research on international real estate markets, investment themes, and macroeconomic trends to generate actionable insights that inform investment strategy and client engagement. Translate complex data into clear recommendations, develop white papers, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality research outputs. Expectations: - Deliver timely, accurate research reports, presentations, and thematic notes. - Translate data into strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders. - Maintain current, relevant research that aligns with business objectives and client needs. - Support new business initiatives and brand visibility through research‑driven content. Key Responsibilities: - Execute comprehensive research on Canada, U.S., and global real estate markets. - Analyze investor sentiment, capital markets activity, and macroeconomic drivers. - Produce investment‑oriented presentations, Fact Summaries, and research notes. - Design and produce recurring surveys, quarterly reports, and ad‑hoc materials. - Monitor political, economic, and financial developments affecting real‑estate investments. - Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, and Wealth Management teams to align research with client engagement strategies. Required Skills: - Strong quantitative and analytical abilities; adept with complex data sets. - Advanced proficiency in Excel; database literacy (SQL, Tableau, Power BI) preferred; GIS experience a plus. - Excellent oral presentation and advanced written communication skills. - Proactive, problem‑solving mindset with good judgment and innovative thinking. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Economics, or related discipline. - Minimum 3 years of prior research experience focused on real estate, economics, or institutional investments.
