Job title: Sr. Security Consultant – Identity Management
Role Summary: Lead security consulting for Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions, providing subject‑matter expertise to clients, designing and implementing IAM architectures, driving governance and compliance, and mentoring junior consultants. Remote, client‑centric, cross‑functional collaboration.
Expectations: • Deliver high‑quality IAM assessments, designs, and implementations that meet client security, compliance, and business goals. • Mentor and coach junior consultants, contributing to practice growth. • Partner with sales and technical teams to qualify opportunities and ensure successful solution delivery. • Stay current on emerging IAM technologies, trends, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities: • Conduct IAM security assessments and gap analyses for enterprise customers. • Design, implement, and optimize IAM solutions (e.g., SSO, MFA, privileged access, identity governance). • Develop governance models, security frameworks, compliance reports, and risk mitigation plans. • Enable automation of IAM processes and integrate IAM with cloud and on‑prem environments. • Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and client deliverables. • Deliver training sessions, workshops, and knowledge transfer to client staff and internal teams. • Lead or support technical portions of proposal development and ROI modeling. • Facilitate client meetings, workshops, and technical discussions. • Mentor and develop junior consultants’ technical and professional skills.
Required Skills: • Deep expertise in IAM architecture, design, and operations (SSO, MFA, identity governance, privileged access). • Strong knowledge of cloud security frameworks (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IAM integrations. • Proficiency in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) practices for IAM. • Ability to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. • Experience designing and delivering client‑engaged training programs. • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills. • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities. • Proven collaboration with sales, engineering, and project management teams.
Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Relevant certifications (preferred): CISSP, CISA, CCSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or equivalent IAM‑specific credentials.
